The Life Trees Live From Autunm 'Til Spring

Yellow, Red,and Brown the leaves fall to the ground.
The trees slowly let go of their covering.
They show their true self as they are laid bare.
No more coverings to hide their imperfections.
They stand tall and proud of who they are.
Their roots go deep within the earth.
The Mother Earth nourishes them in their dormant state.
The branches have to stand up to the ice and snow.
Some are as strong as a rock.
While yet others break under the burden.
They all look dead and yet still are alive.
They suffer through the wind,rain,ice and snow.
Yet through it all they still survive.
The air warms and the ice and snow melts.
Slowly little buds break through their limbs.
Budding leaves start to appear and new branches sprout.
The trees are green again, tall, proud, and full of life.
Thank you Mother Earth for keeping them alive.
